Transparent Sentinel

Striking colorful fused glass sculpture. Lots of colored squares, using a mix or transparent and opaque hand cut glass layered on top of each other. The glass is fired in a kiln to 1500 degrees until it becomes one single piece of glass.

The Sentinel uses clear glass as the base and thus allows light to transmit through the colored glass. The Sentinel looks stunning on a window sill or placed where there is good back lighting. The piece will glow in light or dark locations. Each Sentinel is signed and no two pieces are the same.
