Great Heron

This great blue heron is sand-carved in glass with the head and wing tips carved out around the lip of the bowl. Each feather is etched one at a time giving depth and dimension to the wing spread and detail to the face of this great bird. Trees and a flying heron are etched on the back of this hand-blown glass vase.
