Shimmering, iridized clear glass pairs with lustrous white in these organic flower blooms. Each flower ranges from 6"-10"dia, with a dark brown and caramelized glass center.

Ready to hang, each flower mounts with a metal stand-off and provided hardware. The hardware, attached with a rare-earth magnet, passes through a small hole in the center of the flower which is covered by the center glass piece. "The richness of our world is defined by the art we create. I wish for my history to be filled with color and light."

Opening the door to her studio, Becker's first feeling is happiness because beautiful glass surrounds the space. Working in this medium for over twenty years has shown her that she will never run out of inspiration, and that glass is not only challenging, but rewarding.

Becker utilizes an array of techniques to create her colorful glass art. To create murrini, she pulls rods of glass at 1500 degrees Fahrenheit, then nips the rods to reveal the interior design she has created. Each finished murrini work includes hundreds of individual pieces of glass. Most often, any individual work represents multiple techniques as well as expertise in glass compatibility, gravity, temperature control, color placement, and reaction.

The majority of Becker's background in kiln-formed glass has been self-taught. She has had the opportunity to travel and teach her glass skills to host studios around the United States. Her work has been featured in numerous publications, such as Glass Art Magazine and the Bullseye Glass International Catalog.
