Sunflower Oval Platter

This vibrant platter, featuring a striking sunflower design, is made of earthenware and is finished with the majolica process, giving it a delicate watercolor look that is nevertheless durable and impervious to fading or discoloration. During formation, artist Peggy Crago compresses and rounds the edges to make the work chip-resistant.
