One World, Same Boat I

This boat with a dozen removable figures celebrates the bond and the knowledge we are more alike than different. In these uncertain, times it's nice to know we all can relate to one another and be a support system.

All stoneware clay components are slab built separately and then combined. The surface is smoothed, textured, then slip is applied. After the first firing, artist-made glaze is applied and then selectively wiped away to create a worn look.
