Ritual Sphere Writing

This large, hand-built sculpture resonates an ancestral quality. The carved, high-relief symbols and patterns highlighted by the surrounding inlaid black stain convey an ancient appearance. Fired multiple times using under-glaze chalks and stains, the surface texture takes on a distressed, stone-like feel. The tripod-foot base subtly elevates the piece from the surface area. Weighs approximately twenty-five pounds.
