Round Horsehair Raku Jar

Handmade pottery. Wheel thrown. Covered in several layers of Terra Sigillata and hand polished. Raku fired with horsehair and iron. The soft sheen comes from the Terra Sigillata. Signed on the bottom by the artist. This Raku piece is for decorative use only. The clay remains porous and is not suitable for holding water. Each piece is unique, form, coloration and horsehair pattern will vary.
