Blue-Gray Stratification Tiles

These ceramic wall tiles were built using weathered strips of clay standing on end; the result is intricately-detailed works with a sense of movement and energy. Built from stoneware and featuring underglazes fired at high temperature, each features additional found elements added for contrast. Mounted to a wooden brace, they float 1/2" off the wall. Wired and ready to hang.
