Warn uses pigmented wax (encaustic) in conjunction with found or created text and images in multiple layers along with a limited use of found objects.
The artists's formal education is in landscape architecture and she practiced in that field for a few years before deciding to work as an artist. She also attended graduate programs in Classical Archaeology and Theater Design.
