"Inspired by human-made structures and the balance and flow of nature, my goal is to create unique jewelry that expresses a balance of strength, power, and graceful elegance."
Inspired by Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and Mid-century Modern, not to mention the balance and flow of the natural world, Nikki uses a beautiful variety of gemstones and various karats and colors of gold. With an intuitive design process, Nikki’s designs are an evolution from an initial sketch or idea to the final design to create pieces that allow the wearer to make a statement about personal their style.
Using traditional lost wax casting and fabrication methods, Nikki creates small-scale sculptures that combine a flowing yet graphic quality with unique and beautiful gemstone combinations.
After receiving her MFA in art, Nikki worked in the retail jewelry world as a goldsmith. After 20 years of honing her craft, Nikki decided to honor her initial vision of her craft and began creating pieces that showcased her unique design perspective and love of gemstones.
