In 1986, Carol Turner opened a tiny little store in San Angelo, Texas, where she created custom design and sewing. Two years later she moved out of custom work and created a line of clothing for specialty stores nationwide. From the beginning, Carol Turner focused on clothing that is both comfortable and sophisticated --"just like the women that we live and work with."

Inspired by the diversity of the lives of the women around her, Turner credits them for the focus of her clothing design. These women are " always working, always giving support...to family, to friends, to good causes, to employees and employers, to students, to customers and clients. And somewhere in all of this they find time to take care of themselves!"

These are the women that Carol Turner would would like her clothing to appeal to, all across the country, and the reason she creates clothing that is always easy to care for and easy to wear, clothing that is comfortable and sophisticated.

Elevates My Wardrobe!

I love, love this tunic. I don't usually spend as much as I did for this tunic, but I caught it on sale, and it's worth every penny. It's the most interesting and the most flattering thing I have in my wardrobe, and when I want to go out for a special evening (or day!), it's a standout, and makes me look my best!

Favorite top of all time

These tops are perfect for travel and everyday with leggings and they dress up nicely too! The material washes beautifully and I just dry flat. My only complaint is I have the extra large in the long sleeve and the sleeves are WAY too long. Nobody has arms that long! At least the green one is. The black one is much better. I have all colors in the ¾ sleeve which is my favorite. But the long sleeve is a bit longer in length and I prefer the longer length. Highly recommend any style.

Lovely textured tunic with too-long sleeves

The material has a luscious hand and color; cut is flattering for someone with hips. Only issue are the sleeves, which I will need to shorten by about 3-4 inches. Wish these beautiful clothes were available in petite sizes.

LOVE THIS--want more!

this tunic fits me like a glove! IT is absolutely stunning. I may have preferred a deeper red but since the fit is so awesome, it makes up for the color.
