Linocut Print

Created by Ouida Touchon
This print is part of the artist's "Languor Series," which is comprised of linocut images of women relaxing in moments of contemplation. The color in the hand-print comes from papers applied in the chine colle technique using Japanese paste. The chine colle process is a traditional technique of collaging to a base sheet of heavy paper, using archival paste and then overprinting with an etching or relief block.

All paper used is acid-free. As this is the artist's own unique technique and fine artwork, slight variations will occur and are considered part of the hand-printing process. Packed carefully and shipped in a flat box. The 12"sq image is matted to 16"sq size with neutral white acid-free mat.
