Birch plywood dyed with fiber reactive textile dyes, allowing the wood grain to read through the transparent color. Panel is finished with a satin sheen polyacrylic top coat. The bottom of the piece has a metallic gold-colored detail that was made by dripping epoxy on the surface, then sifting metal powder over it before the epoxy has set up. This creates a three-dimensional metallic decoration on the surface. The bottom edge of the artwork has a band of copper nailed onto it. The copper was then wrapped over the front edge of the panel and using a burnisher, pressed into the gaps of the raised metallic epoxy. The sides and top are finished with a polyacrylic top coat. The bottom edge has a strip of copper nailed on, finished with wax to prevent oxidation.

Spot clean wooden surface with water or soap and water. Do not use ammonia-based cleaners. Do not use liquid cleaners on the gold surface. Dust with a soft dry cloth.
