Claudia Fajardo

"Nature is my inspiration; every detail of it leads me to create unique pieces in which color and texture are the protagonists. "

Claudia Fajardo's work is inspired by the beauty of nature and creation. She reflects this beauty by transforming her ideas into unique and astonishing pieces of art with splashes of color and unexpected palettes.

Fajardo's jewelry is created entirely by hand using skillful metalwork and great imagination. Her contemporary silver pieces combine a variety of textures and colors; hammered, matte, and satin finishes contrast with the colors of semiprecious stones and woven glass beads for pieces that mirror the perfection of nature.

Fajardo has a degree in industrial design from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Colombia. She has also studied jewelry design and metalsmithing in South American and the USA. Fajardo moved to Washington, D.C. in 2012, where she polished her knowledge of alternative materials at the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design. She currently lives and works in Houston, Texas.
