Little River HotGlass Studio
"Our work deals with creating harmony in the balance of form and color. "

Michael Trimpol and Monique LaJeunesse's work explores the nature of the glass. They feel a particular love for glass in its molten state, and they channel that love into the creation of objects of beauty and originality: vases, perfume bottles, and more.

The artists work with glass using traditional techniques, gathering and blowing the molten glass until each piece achieves the balance and harmony they are striving for. They often incorporate processes such as cold working, sandblasting, cutting, and polishing in order to accentuate or focus on characteristics of the material.

Marbles

I purchased this rainbow marble to honor the memory of a dog named Marbles. The founder of One by One Animal Advocates wrote a beautiful tribute to Marbles, who was one of her rescue dogs. The story of Marbles inspired me to find the most meaningful symbol for Marbles' life. I searched a great deal and then found this perfect marble, resting on a glass dish, by Michael Trimpol and Monique LaJeunesse. It has become a poignant reminder of Marbles' eternal presence in Heather's life.
