Mike Wallace studied glassblowing at the Corning Museum of Glass and the Toledo Museum of Art, where he completed several years of independent study. In 2001, he began to pursue glass art as a full-time career. Currently, he works out of his own studio which, as part of a series of "back in time" attractions, also includes blacksmith and carpentry shops.

LOVELY WITH CAVEAT

The piece I received is very different than the photo, but still lovely. It is mainly turquoise, with a touch of cobalt. But I have another turquoise piece that I placed next to it, and in combination that makes a very nice display. However, if you want a cobalt vase, be aware that the recent piece I got differs a lot from the photo.
