This hand blown glass cone shaped vase is sure to be a hit. The construction is a 3 piece process to develop the footed flare, the clear sphere, and then the large cone shape. The colors are all created and hand laid out by the artist to develop the intricate mosaic pattern of earthy blues and browns. This color style is reminiscent of underwater excavations or a view of earth from above.

Slow Burn Glass
"There is nothing I enjoy more than blowing glass. The continuing emerging quality that occurs in my pieces is the use of color and clean lines. My designs take form as functional vessels such as bowls, vases, and platters. Aesthetically, each piece can stand alone or become part of a larger cluster of pieces. I hope that each of my pieces gives you as much pleasure as I have had in creating it for you."

Bryan Goldenberg was originally a ceramic student when he discovered his true passion: blown glass. He has now been blowing glass since 1995. He was the featured artist at a solo show at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas in 2007, and returned again for solo shows in 2008 and 2010.

In 2006, Goldenberg designed and built Slow Burn Glass, a 2300 square foot glass studio where he creates his work. Here, Goldenberg has excelled in many forms and styles that include the use of clean lines and superior craftsmanship. Using his past experiences to influence these styles, he spends a lot of time developing his own colors and transforming them into one-of-a-kind works of art!

In 2002, Goldenberg graduated with a B.F.A. in glass from California College of Arts in Oakland. He has trained at Inferno Glass Studio in New Orleans and Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle. Internationally, he has trained in Murano, Italy. It has been his honor to have trained with well-known glass blowers including Dante Marioni, Lino Tagliapietra, Philip Baldwin, and Monica Guggisberg.
