Lilia Venier Ceramics
"I aim to bring joy into your life with unique pieces from my imagination shaped in clay with a profusion of colors."

Ceramic artist Lilia Venier is attracted to the colors and textures that surround her. She considers clay to be the perfect medium to express her love for nature and her feelings about the world. Inspired by folk art, Venier has developed a personal style that is whimsical and fun, artistic and contemporary.

Ceramics has given Venier the opportunity to express her ideas and creativity in a unique way. She creates pieces that have a variety of colors and textures as well as interesting shapes and carvings, which she especially enjoys. She uses handbuilding and throwing techniques to create one-of-a-kind work. Each piece has its own personality and cries out to be touched.

Venier has a certificate in ceramics from Glendale Community College in Glendale, CA. Her work has been shown in a variety of art shows and galleries over the past fifteen years. She has been an instructor for the past two years in a private studio.
