Prosperity is a Feng Shui light sculpture with subtle hand written Chinese poetry about abundance, peace, and of course, prosperity. Each light sculpture is individually handmade using natural and handmade fibers. Fibers and resins are used in harmony with a delicate sculptural technique, the result is a durable light sculpture that has a truly unique and ethereal presence. The lamp has a dimmer switch on the light fixture. Twenty-five watt light bulb is included.

Lara Fisher along with her artist mother, Linda Fisher, and sister Shannon Fisher discovered a true passion for light. The understated power of light and color, along with the beauty of nature was the main inspiration behind these impressionistic lights. Not only is there a tremendous calming power felt from light but the shape of the Japanese Koi fish symbolizes peace, strength, and prosperity.

Each piece is individually hand crafted using handmade fibers, resins, and a unique sculptural technique that the Fisher women perfected over years of experimentation.

Lara grew up in a family of gifted artisans where originality and creativity were encouraged. She began traveling the world at a young age and quickly developed a fascination with all things unique, exotic, and creative. The Fisher women currently reside and take inspiration from some of the most beautiful places they have traveled to: California, Utah and Italy.

Simply Beautiful!

We bought 3 of these artistic lamps, and we're very happy with them! They're colorful, wonderfully made, and very unusual. We had a few guests over this weekend, and these fish were the hit of the party!
I've seen them in the catalog for years, but decided to buy them after I showed them to my husband. He loved them! It was a bit of a challenge trying to decide which ones to order. I really did want them all!

Injured but Recovering

Coy the Koi is a marvelous addition to the home. He (or is it she?) is attractive, well mannered, and very quiet. To improve Coy's appearance and to make sure he advances into old age, I swapped out the incandescent bulb for a LED bulb. It burns cooler and lasts longer. But Coy is still recovering from injuries suffered on the trip to South Carolina. See below.

Love My Koi!

I was in Park City UT and saw these in a art gallery and fell in love with them. This is number of three. Number two is on order and number 3 for Christmas! Just as amazing as in the gallery. They are truly unique and create a magical glow at night. The first one I ordered is the highest height, the second that is on order is the second highest which is only 4" shorter. I am a little concerned that I should have ordered a shorter one and that there might not be enough distance between the two. I wish I could have consulted the artist.

Love these!

These lamps are just incredibly artistic, fun, colorful and full of personality. They are one of those items that bring a grin to your face every time you see them and one of those purchases you don't regret or cringe at the price of purchase because they are so joyful. Every person who walks in my door stops, looks at them, smiles and then complements them. No matter where I put them... they improve the feel of the room. The metal lamp stand is well made and perfectly suited to highlight the fish's character as the purpose is to light them from within and display the art without distraction.The dimmer function is a major plus. My husband, whose reaction to art is generally a benign shrug, comments again and again that these fish lamps are his favorite thing I've ever purchased. Just his notice makes me want to buy 10 more!

Beautiful

I am delighted with the Koi Lamp. It is as beautiful as the picture. The uniqueness of this hand made lamp is a real conversation piece. Initially I thought it was a luxury purchase on my part due to the price, but after seeing the lamp in person I realized how much work had gone into making it. Very happy with my purchase.
