"It's all about the color."

Linda Lamore has always been intrigued by the way light plays across the surface of colors and how the colors are perceived. Working primarily as an abstract painter, she has developed her own style of applying layer upon layer of oil paint with a palette knife, creating rich color fields on canvas.

In Lamore's paintings the colors refract and break apart, showing multiple layers of color that move and dance across the surface.

Lamore also applies this technique to the surface of flamed copper and powder-coated aluminum to create clocks with subtle blends of color and value, giving them a texture that is both peaceful and bold.

Linda Lamore graduated with a B.F.A. from San Diego State University, where she majored in painting and sculpture. After receiving her teaching credential, she taught art, 3-D design, and ceramics for six years. Her longing to produce art full time and to slow down and feel connected to a community led her and her family to Ashland, Oregon.

Stunning

The pendulum clock exceeded expectations. The colors are perfect, framed in black with a black pendulum, that is a work of art on its own.

Beautiful workmanship!

I am thrilled with my new clock and the vibrant colors are a standout. The only problem I have with it are the hands of the clock seem a "little" off even when following in the directions for adjustments. But only someone studying the clock will see it.

Stunning! I have received so many compliments on this simple, beautiful clock. It is true to size and the colors are as in the image. The pendulum does not make noise, which I appreciated. It is somewhat confusing to insert the batteries. There are posts on the back of the clock to assure that it hangs perfectly. One compartment has the + - indications. The other compartment does not. Both ends of the compartments are identical. Confusing for a few minutes, but not an issue.

Stunning!

I received my clock when it was predicted, however the colors were much brighter & mostly blue unlike the photo. Artful Home & the artist were very quick to make it right with the help of some photos I sent. The replacement is perfect!!! I texture is strong and the pendulum is silent. It came with very helpful instructions on assembly, setting the time and how to clean - a very professional & personal approach to 'real' art. The only drawback, is that the clock hands are rather thin so hard to see from some angles. But it is so beautiful that we are happy to get used to it. Highly recommend and worth the price. Thank you Linda Lamore!!!
