Isabelle Gougenheim Designs
"By merging abstractionism with bright colors and real imagery, I create wearable art silk scarves and jackets that are inspired by my French roots, street art, and graffiti. Each scarf is like a canvas with a travel story, a marriage between my lifelong love for art and fascination with scarves."

Growing up in France, the world's fashion capital, Isabelle has always had a passion for art and fashion. By creating multi-faceted scarves and jackets that are urban poems, she pays tribute to these accessories that are closely embedded in French culture—using them as an authentic medium to express her creativity.

After creating her artwork by mixing different media (oil, acrylics, collage, ink, crayon, spray paint, and more), Isabelle prints these designs on luxurious fabrics, such as silk and modal, creating unique wearable art scarves, kimonos, and reversible jackets. All of her designs are designed in her Chicago art studio and made in Italy.

Isabelle Gougenheim is a French born artist, who grew up in Saint Die Des Vosges, a small town in Northern France. After graduating with a masters degree from Les Beaux Arts, she traveled for a year in North Africa before moving to Chicago. Before launching her own brand, she worked for Holly Hunt Collection and was a partner at the Kevin Reilly Collection.
