You're the first to get it—and it will ship as soon as it's ready.

From the dreamscape of the Imaginary Garden comes a pair of earrings that capture a moment of quiet beauty where a lotus blooms serenely beside its lily pad, their forms suspended in time and light.

Each piece is brought to life through the ancient *plique-à-jour* technique, a meticulous enameling process that suspends translucent enamel within a delicate metal framework, like miniature stained glass. Light passes through the lily pads, illuminating them from within and bringing a rare, ethereal dimension to the design. In these earrings, the lotus glows in soft white and pink enamels, each petal delicately shaded to mirror nature’s own grace, while the lily pad shimmers in layered greens, offering a serene counterpoint.

Lightweight and three-dimensional, they sway gently with your movement, catching light like sun dappling across a still pond.

In many cultures, the lotus is a symbol of purity, resilience, and spiritual awakening, rising through murky waters to bloom in flawless beauty. The lily pad, its steadfast companion, represents stability, renewal, and the quiet support that allows the lotus to flourish. Together, they tell a story of harmony, transformation, and the courage to thrive in any environment.

For the woman who cherishes art that carries meaning, these earrings are a reminder that beauty often emerges from stillness — and that even the smallest details can hold entire worlds.

"My current body of work is a marriage of elegance and the unexpected. The contemporary movement of the metalwork is in sharp contrast to the primitive elements of rough stones and enamels."

Evolution would be the best word to describe how Laura works. Her background is in illustration and painting. She has explored ceramic sculpture and was known for many years for the figurative jewelry incorporating porcelain sculpture with metal work. Laura's progression into enamel work seemed inevitable. She is always looking for new ways to express herself through her art.

Laura uses traditional metalsmith techniques including manipulating metal with hammers, fire, cutting, and soldering. Her experimentations with enamel and her love for rough stones and found objects keep Laura's work fresh and surprising.

Laura is mostly self-taught, however she attends a variety of workshops to expand her artistic vocabulary.
