This knee-length ultrasuede jacket can be worn open, or fastened at the waist with its handcrafted ebony button. It features a sculpted asymmetrical collar and a playful scatter of circular cut-outs running across the front and around the back. This, combined with the artist's unique sleeve design, means that the piece moves and breathes exceptionally well.

Simple enough to be worn as a light jacket in everyday situations and dramatic enough to elevate your little black dress to a formal statement.

This piece is meant to be worn loose and move with and around you, leaving ample space around the waist. The key measurement for fit is at the shoulders.

Teresa Maria Widuch

"I can spend a whole day putting a button or pocket in the right place because I want to be proud of every piece. I want to make it in harmony with itself. "

Teresa Maria Widuch was born into an industrious family in Poland, surrounded by the conflicting forces of an artistic family and the scarcities of communism. This early exposure to the possibilities of meeting necessity through beautiful form guided her through a multitude of careers and countries, exposing her to all walks of life. Throughout, she has worked on her art, developing an aesthetic that shows ingenuity and authenticity: an efficient use of materials with a clean line that is elegant but never flashy.

All work is done entirely by hand to create a fine-tuned sculptural effect. Each piece is given the time necessary to ensure the highest level of quality. Teresa Maria Widuch has chosen from the finest merino wools, wool felts, suedes, and ultrasuedes from around the world for this purpose. Each piece is individually designed, cut, and assembled: no two pieces, even within the same design, are exactly alike.

Teresa Maria Widuch is entirely self-taught, drawing upon a lifetime of painting, freehand portraiture, sewing, knitting, and silk painting.

Fabulous

I like this jacket even more in person than how it appeared online. The fit is perfect for my 5'9", 160 lb frame (38-30-40). It's more lightweight (very) than I expected, which means I can wear it comfortably all day. Note: this is not an overcoat, especially for those living in the Midwest.

Stunning

The quality of the fabric and workmanship are outstanding. The fit is perfect, and the look is very chic. You will not be seeing anyone else wearing "your coat" when you wear this one. It is unique and fashionable. I am exceptionally pleased and have ordered another design from this artist.
