This marvelous desk is versatile, able to be folded and quickly disassembled without any tools, to be stored when not in use. Made from cherry and curly cherry wood with a wenge wood detail and custom made stainless steel hinges, it features two drawers under the upper top and a string of LED lights which add a soft glow to the lower top.

Batteries are located behind the drawers and are accessed by taking out three machine screws attaching drawer and battery bank to the top. A stainless steel bracket mounted to a wooden tube acts as the assembly point for the top, with the bottom desk allowing you to turn the upper top 180 degrees, as well as allowing the drawers to be accessed from the front while using it in the standing position. A wonderful and flexible addition to any home office!

Bob Krantz
"My primary ambition as a furniture designer is to create museum-quality furniture and artwork that is functional, thought-provoking, and pleasing to the eye."

Robert Krantz creates original pieces that, though they may perform tasks similar to other furniture, have a design, look, and quality all their own. Each piece has details that make it stand out from the ordinary.

Krantz constructs his pieces from the finest hardwoods and exotic veneers. The combination of distinctive woods and original designs works in concert to make each piece exceptional.

Though Robert Krantz has a college education, the real learning experiences that he uses every day include workshops and classes with Ian Kirby and Sam Maloof.
