Bloyd Art Glass
With his fountain work, Tom Bloyd strives to find a balance between function and artistry, bringing together rich color and fluid movement. He and his wife work together to make each piece, drawing on the traditions of the American glass movement.
Bloyd creates each piece one at a time, uniting many components to make each sculpture. He draws on 20 years of glassblowing experience to constantly evolve his color palette and incorporate traditional techniques while discovering new ones along the way.
Tom Bloyd received a degree in metalsmithing from the University of Kansas while also studying the art of glassblowing. He started his first studio before graduating.
