Thea Izzi

"I want my jewelry to inspire courage, beauty, and joy in the women who wear it."

With an emphasis on form and space, Thea Izzi blends fluidity and movement in her elegant jewelry. Her love of natural geometry shines in the clean lines and balanced compositions of her pieces. She likes to make bold, sculptural pieces while paying attention to wearability, color contrasts, and the interplay of positive and negative space.

Izzi's creative process is a combination of instinct, discovery, and letting ideas evolve and come to fruition as she works. The act of creating jewelry in itself is often where new ideas are born. She crafts jewelry from sterling silver, 18K gold, and bimetal, materials that give her hand-fabricated pieces a luminous glow.

Thea Izzi has been designing and creating jewelry since 1991. She received a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design, and in 1998, she was awarded the prestigious Fulbright Grant to explore the divine feminine in painting and sculpture in Florence, Italy. This concept still influences her design sense to this day.
