Filomena Booth
Inspired by Florida's Gulf Coast, Filomena Booth creates contemporary landscapes that celebrate the beauty of marshes, waterways, wildflowers, and expansive skies. Her work is driven by a fascination with atmosphere, color, and the emotional connection people feel to the places they love.
Booth works primarily in acrylic, building layers of color, texture, and expressive brushwork to create luminous landscapes. Balancing observation with interpretation, she focuses on capturing the mood and feeling of a scene rather than simply recording its appearance.
A former art educator, Booth has built a successful career as a professional artist. Her work is collected nationwide and licensed by a major art publisher, with artwork featured in hotels, healthcare facilities, corporate environments, and private collections throughout the United States.
