"The motion, light, and drama of the sea inspire all my work as I explore the meaning of the changing landscape of the ocean. Wild, strong, soft, clear, angry, peaceful—it mirrors all of us and our thoughts. I have to work; it is part of me to reflect on the changing landscape of our lives."

Sabra's sculpture and furniture is made of laser-cut steel and fused glass. She creates patterns of holes and fringes in the glass. She then makes cane, cutting circles to add dimension to the piece.

Sabra earned a B.F.A. cum laude from Syracuse University. She completed additional graduate work at Syracuse and Parsons School of Design and attended workshops at the Corning Museum of Glass.
