"I make unique functional pottery with an elegant simplicity and a casual rusticity. Concentrating on one pot at a time allows me to create something truly special that will hopefully become an integral part of your family's daily life, your cherished memories, and a treasured piece of your history."

Disappointed by the mediocrity of mass-produced housewares, Reid provides a satisfying alternative in her handcrafted pottery. Her attention to quality craftsmanship, artistic design, and rustic texture ensures maximum functionality while imbuing each piece with a unique character that will be further enhanced with use. She hopes that each piece will become a touchstone for cherished memories.

Reid forms her pots from stoneware clay on the potter's wheel. She then creates one-of-a-kind designs with underglazes and a trailer that will later be applied to exteriors using the monoprint on clay technique. This process has the added benefit of an imperfect, distressed surface that adds depth, interest, and character to each piece. Interiors are then glazed with a food-safe glaze.

Following her service in the USAF, Reid attained a BFA with a concentration in Ceramics from FAU. After school, she worked at accumulating life experiences from which to draw inspiration before setting up a ceramic studio. Since then, Reid has worked at advancing her knowledge of and honing her skills in the ceramics arts.
