K4 Glass Art
"I focus my sculptures on abstract geometrical forms, texture and pure lines, highly influenced by my architectural background. "

Venezuelan glass artist Alicia Kelemen brings out the desired optic effects, forms, textures and a wide array of structures and color in her contemporary multi-media layered collaged mosaic murals, decorative art for the wall, mirrors, home accent floral vases and Judaic Art influenced by her colorful and exotic tropical towery Tepees landscapes and majestic natural wonders cascades like "Angel Falls". Her abstract designs depict the deep tones of jungles and transparent beaches.

Kelemen creates her art by drafting manually each piece to scale to combine the mosaic technique, using travertine stone with Kiln-Formed glass. Her technique is created by incorporating multi-layers collages of fused glass, flat glass, color mirror accents and copper gold wiring and cut stone.

Alicia Kelemen is a second generation architect and glass maker since 1983. She grew up in Venezuela surrounded by glass projects within her home and her father's constant creativity and inspiration. She furthers her knowledge in the USA under the master professor Ludwig Schaffrath in USA and Germany.

More Beautiful in Person!

I love Alicia Kelemen's glass chanukiyot, and have had my eye on this one for a couple of years now. I finally decided to purchase it.

When one sees something online, it is sometimes disappointing in person, as you cannot really understand the size, color or overall "feel" of the piece from a web photo. But I love the chanukiyah even more in person than I did when viewing it on the website!

Beautiful

We celebrated Hanukkah last year(2023) with our son and his family. He had just gifted himself with this breathtaking menorah. We all looked forward to our time together each night after the candles were lit. This menorah in its beauty was truly a part of the specialness and sacredness of what Hanukkah means to me and how I want to celebrate it. So ... we will not be together this year and I decided to gift myself with this menorah too. I am looking forward to this time of renewal and rededication with this menorah as our new sacred ritual object

Beautifully hand crafted

Wish it looked a little more like the photo here, but appreciate that each one is made to order and is therefore a little unique. Overall happy with my purchase.
