Ocean Reef Paperweight

Egan's paperweights evoke a tapestry of living organisms from an ocean reef, maybe from another time and place. He works to abstract the colors and rhythms of aquatic life. The imagery focuses on minute details being magnified by a clear glass encasement. The technique used is called murrini. These paperweights truly delight when shown in natural sunlight.
