Lolly Glass Flower Garden Stakes will add a big burst of color to your garden that will not fade or wilt. The vibrant color combinations are intended to catch your eye from near or far and bring you joy all year round. An avid gardener, Gomien translates assorted flower details into glass. The artist loves to experiment with color, shape and the play of light. Each of the glass Lolly Flowers is meticulously pieced together and fired and fused in a kiln. The flowers are adhered to a handmade stainless steel garden stake with a foot for easy installation in your garden or container. Flower name is engraved on the back and is signed by the artist.

Flower is 7.25"Dia, 1"D. Available with either a 26" or 32" stake.

" Color is my playground; geometry and composition define the boundaries within which I play."

As a child, Terry Gomien lusted after that big box of crayons with the sharpener on the back. That vast array of richly hued wax sticks formed her initial color theory. She continues to play with the same vibrant palette translated now with glass.

Gomien creates one of a kind glass sheets for her work. The meditative process of manipulating glass powder adds an intended depth to her pieces. She patiently assembles sheets of tiny glass threads into vibrant undulating waves of color. She fires these sheets. She hand cuts them and combines the graphic details with vibrant sheet glass to create her compositions.Multiple firings complete the work.

As a former toy inventor, Gomien developed an insatiable curiosity. This lead her to a glass class at Lill Street Art, Chicago and she was hooked. It was her travels to Bullseye Glass, Portland however, that started her real training. Many workshops later instructors Patty Gray, Kari Minnick, Richard Parrish and Elise Kendrot most influence her current work.

As beautiful as I had hoped it would be

I can't wait to place this in my flower garden at our lake cabin. The craftsmanship is meticulous, the design is very fun and unique. It's a beautiful piece! And the packaging was impressive, as well - zero chance of any damage. Top notch in every aspect.

Easy-Care Bright Garden Flower

I have another orange flower, bought last season, and multiple birds. I love them all. Best of all, the colors last all summer long, and the wildlife doesn't eat them. They are sturdy, well-made, and stand tall through lots of nasty weather.

Beauty and light

A gift for my sister, we're both in our 70s living at different ends of the US. I wanted her to have something to bring to mind our love and appreciation for each other. This piece was just the thing!
