Momma & Baby Garden Birds

Observing daily visitors to her bird feeder, Gomien translates assorted bird details into glass to create these vibrant garden characters. The artist detailed Momma Bird to look protectively upon her baby bird. The pair has coordinating colors to unify them as a family, but they may be separated if so desired.

They are meticulously pieced together using brightly colored glass and pieces of custom made sheet glass. They were fired and fused in a kiln and then adhered to a handmade stainless steel garden stake with foot for easy installation. The bird's name is engraved on the back. Signed by the artist. Dimensions listed refer to the bird alone. Birds are mounted on a 26"H or 32"H post.
