Not So Pretty

    Comments about Quail Sculpture:

The figure I received displays considerable bulk over the website and catalog photographs. As such it has completely lost the delicate feel of the prototype. While the prototype shows a "neckline" my copy goes upward in the front in a straight line from the base to the "beak". This bulkiness is furthered by the molded base which is considerably heavier than the prototype aluminum base extending forward to the previous vertical line. Rather than the Quail rising it appears to be squatting.

Mr. Wallace is definitely FOR the BIRDS!

    By

    Comments about Quail Sculpture:

The beautiful glass quail is prominently displayed in my living room and I admire him every day. Turning the glass and seeing the colors revolve and blend I am so impressed by the artistry that has made this bird a part of my world. My many thanks to Mr Wallace for his imagination and great talent. And thanks also to Artful Home for making the sculpture available and so cared for.
