The color in this fused glass panel comes from layering cut glass and firing the work in a glass kiln. This piece has been processed multiple times, giving it depth and dimension. Gestural lines and birds in gold, black, and white are fired into the glass surface to add detail, movement, and a connection to animals and nature. The panel is mounted onto a custom-made, brushed aluminum frame, carved with bird shapes to extend the movement of the birds throughout the entire piece. Ready to hang.
