Roselike Hosta Flower
Black & White Photograph
This is a picture of the early stage of the flower of the common landscape plant, the hosta. The shape was very unique, forming a shape similar to a rose. It is printed on high quality 23.5X16.5 inch mat surface fine art paper using an Epson professional printer and archival pigment inks, guaranteed not to fade for hundreds of years. The picture is one of 50 and there is a border of one inch on all sides.
It was one of a five part entry that won First Place awards in the 2009 International Photography Awards (Lucies) and First Place in the Prix de la Photographie Paris in 2010. It is titled and editioned on the lower left in pencil, and signed and dated by the artist on the lower right in pencil.
