In Scotland, between the River Garry and Loch Oich, near the Village of Invergarry is a magical, unnamed mossy forest. On this cold December morning, a rare event occurred. Cold temperatures, fog, and a high pressure front created perfect conditions for hoar frost to form. Before my very eyes, the forest transformed into a mystical sugar coated delight. You can see the beginnings of the frost coating the tree top canopies, delicately glazing the intricate branches.

Very pleased to have discovered Matt Anderson. Good quality.

Our den has a 'wee bit' of my Scottish heritage in the decor; tartans, navies, greens and reds. One wall houses the old patriarch in full regalia, and text of the family history. Matt's piece is a great addition to an empty space on the opposite wall and I'm delighted it was photographed in Scotland. Rich colors. Moody and mystic, yet restful.

One of my favorite picturees

My wife bought this for me for father's day. I am very happy with it, I love the detail and especially the colors. The dark green of the moss and the dark blue back ground really create a great mood with the red of the leaves. The focus is wonderful and the whole thing creates the perfect dark mood. I would highly recommend this artist and his work.

Gorgeous photograph, I can hardly believe it's real. Colors are incredible. On the expensive side.
