Hollow rock is an iconic coastal formation located on the North West side of Lake Superior. Air glow creates a colorful luminescent atmosphere below the night sky and Milky Way. A long exposure captures the faint stars, shooting stars, and creates a smooth watery surface atop Lake Superior's churning sea. A technically very difficult scene to photograph, but Anderson has skillfully mastered this amazing scene.

This fine art print is masterfully prepared on an award-winning robust fine-art paper chosen for maximum impact and long-term archival quality. This fine-art paper is colorfast, having color that retains its original hue without fading or running for more than 100 years. The medium creates high-end photos with impeccable quality and excellent archival properties, making it the highest quality print in fine-art reproduction today.

This print is shipped safely in either a flat reinforced cardboard box or a durable high quality environmental friendly tube. We strongly recommend keeping the art in this original shipping package ready for transport to your local framer. We suggest minimal handling because of propensity for the art to be creased, finger printed, or damaged. Fractional dimensions have been rounded to the nearest inch. White border size may vary given print production processes.

More Beautiful than on Website.

My husband went to college near the Great Lakes and was awed by the brillient stars up there away from the city lights - esp. the Milky Way. When I saw this picture I had to get it for him for Christmas. I ordered the largest size and was worried it would look distorted or grainy or something because of the size. It arrived on time and was rolled up in a very sturdy cardboard container. It was in perfect condition. I repurposed an old brown frame and matting I had in storage. Once it was on the wall and not rolled up in my lap, I could see what a stunningly beautiful picture it is! I couldn't be happier with the purchase and my husband loves it!

A Wonderful Gift

We received this print as an anniversary gift from my Father. It is absolutely beautiful and reminds me of many evenings spent on the North Shore of Lake Superior. Not only is this a piece of art that will grace our home for many years, but it is also something that we will pass on to our son for his future home.

Wonderfully done Mr. Anderson!! I will look for other pieces for our home.

Breathtaking Photo, Brightens Our Office

I was a bit skeptical spending so much site unseen, but the photo is amazing.
It's a nice addition to our gloomy office. In the grind of the business day I take a moment to gaze into the photo. So many intricate details to be found.
