Sterling silver and 18k gold are joined by onyx and a 5mm blue topaz in this entrancing pendant fabricated by hand using traditional metalsmithing techniques. Pendant is 1.5"l. Chain has a lobster claw clasp; choose 16"l or 18"l chain, and enter your desired length in the box below. Limited edition of 20.

Michele LeVett has always enjoyed creating art and working with her hands. Her father was a painter and her mother enjoyed sewing. She is a highly visual person and began her career as a painter. Later, she was introduced to jewelry making and became passionate about working with metal. Her focus is sculptural jewelry with gemstones.

Michele LeVett creates her jewelry from sterling silver and 18k gold accented with gemstones for color. Each piece is fabricated using traditional metalsmithing techniques, including acid etching, roller printing, reticulation, forging, and oxidation. She enjoys setting her own stones and tends to make one unique piece at a time. Her studio is small with room for only one person.

Michele LeVett studied art at Albion College in Michigan and is a completely self-taught metalsmith. She has shown and sold her award-winning jewelry at select art festivals across the United States. Galleries also have collections of her work.

This is my third piece of jewelry from Michele LeVett and I love each one. Each piece is so unique and so well made one can tell that they are made with thought, fine materials and care. The designs are balanced and have small details that make each piece a standout. They are a joy to wear.

Stunning Work of Art

I am absolutely thrilled with this piece. The artist absolutely created a stunning work of art. The combination of the onyx, blue topaz, silver and gold make for an eclectic piece that marvels both aesthetics as well as combining with other jewelry within that range. The craftsmanship is stellar. The necklace is heavy and well made. I am just as speechless as I am with the last necklace I ordered from another artist, Jennifer Park. I am so happy to have come upon Artful Home. Store box jewelry is so conventional.
