Helena Tanzanite Cabochon Ring

Gold, Silver & Stone Ring

Created by Nancy Troske
Tanzanite was discovered in the hills of Northern Tanzania by Masai tribesmen and remains the sole source of tanzanite to this day. An extremely desirable gemstone, it can show two colors - blue and violet - depending on the way the light hits the stone.

Each tanzanite is hand picked by the artist and will measure approximately 13 x 13 mm. They are set in a solid 22k gold bezel and accented with three 22k granules on each side. Granulation is an ancient decorative technique and can only be done on the purest of metal. To bring out the blue-violet of the stone, it has a pure silver back. The ring band is sterling silver and is hand tapered on the back for a comfort fit. Each stone has its own unique characteristics. Only naturally formed gemstones will show this mineral structure. Each tanzanite can vary from the photo in dimensions and color.

Stones are individually cut by hand, hand picked and may vary in height, color and size from the photo.

Available immediately in size 8.5 Made to order in whole and half sizes 6 - 11.

Signed on the back by the artist.
