Fascinated by the unlimited possibilities of lines and curves, Britt Anderson explores anticlastic forming to create his dynamic jewelry. Anderson forms each piece by drawing patterns onto flat sheets of gold and then hand hammering the metal until it becomes three-dimensional. The forming and finishing of each item is extremely labor intensive, making the creation of two sets of earrings in one day an accomplishment. Though complicated and demanding, anticlastic forming allows for exceptionally strong, lightweight, and visually appealing jewelry.
The artist uses only recycled, ecologically processed gold for all of his pieces.

I really love this necklace but I find that it keeps flipping upside down when I wear it. It actually looks nice that way but that's not how it was designed to be worn and right side up it's gorgeous. Because of that I rarely wear it. Such a shame.
I couldn't be happier with this necklace. It is contemporary and elegant. The clasp does tend to migrate down toward the pendant though. Not a big deal. I put the pendant on a gold chain for a different (and beautiful) look but it wanted to flip upside down, so it's original black necklace is the way to go.
This is an unusual, contemporary piece however the pearl is most definitely green-under all light situations it is green, never black, gray or any other color-so if what you really want is a black pearl you will be disappointed. Also, the flat clasp constantly moves to the front necessitating your continually checking and moving it to the back. This is quite annoying in an almost $2,000 piece of jewelry
I have had my eye on this piece for over a year. It always caught my eye whenever I viewed the Artful Home catalog. For Christmas, I finally decided to purchase it. The pendant is a stunning piece of jewelry! I am very happy with it and most impressed with its elegant design and high quality. Britt Anderson has created a lovely piece that I wear with so many different outfits. It's very versatile and surpassed my expectations!
This piece is really extraordinary. It's more beautiful than the picture can show, and as people are noting, can be dressed up or down. I look forward to every chance I have to wear it.
