Perhaps this clock could be viewed as a time machine: kids enter on one side then pass through time and come out all grown up! It's an amazing process and a tribute to humankind. The clock is mostly fabricated copper with a bit of brass and tiny cast sterling silver figures. It runs on an AA battery (included) powered quartz movement which is hidden from view by a copper disk. The back of the clock is attractive. The entire piece is immersed in a liquid sulfurated potash solution to achieve the dark patina. Once dry, the piece is waxed.
