Sea Bass

The heyday of advertising finds new life in this inventive sculpture, inspired by American folk art. Layers of antique and modern tin are riveted to the hand-carved pinewood base, forming colorful scales. The eye is an altered bottle cap and the fins are made from very rusty tin from an old barn. The fins are made of rusted tin, salvaged from an old barn, and the entire piece is given a clear matte lacquer finish. Each piece is unique.
