Modern Onion Flowers

Abstracted onion shapes, inspired by midcentury modern textiles, are cut into aluminum sheets with a hydro-abrasive cutting process then layered for dimensionality. Your wall shows through sections of the artwork. Tiles can be grouped for a larger arrangement. The final piece is textured with a hand grinder for a beautiful finish that highlights the elemental quality of the metal, then powder coated with a durable clear that holds up indoor or out. Hanging hardware for drywall included. These metal sculptures are handcrafted, so individual pieces may have slight variations in the finish.

This artwork is made of aluminum with a powder-coat finish for protection. It will hold up to temperature fluxuations, salt spray, direct sun, and rain. However, extreme conditions may shorten its life.
