For Kevin Lubbers, inspiration comes from places he's fallen in love with all over the world. Each piece of glass art he creates is a reflection of where he longs to be in a world of increasing uncertainty, and is intended to provide the viewer a momentary escape from reality. In his work, Lubbers strives to capture the rare diamonds he sees in nature, hoping the world will stop and take notice.
Kevin Lubbers creates each work of art himself using warm glass in all its forms, from sheet glass to frit. He frames his glass with either metal or exotic wood frames. All metal that is used in his designs is created in-house.
Kevin Lubbers is primarily self-taught. He has found that trial and error is the best schooling.

The "sea grass" metal sculpture arrived very well packed and in perfect condition. It's a beautiful piece the we have hung prominently. Couldn't ask for more except it would be nice to provide mounting instructions. I happen to be very handy and figured it out but many folks would struggle.

I love it! High quality. Happy I purchased it. Could not hang it on the wall, however! Too heavy and no hardware! Thank God I have the perfect nook for it!
