Blue Light Diptych

This original mixed-media diptych painting is created from layers of acrylic paint, colored pencil, chalk and textural materials. Found objects including mesh, twigs, foils and corrugated cardboard add visceral excitement. Active brush work and poured paint heighten the feeling of depth and movement. An acid-free archival coating protects the surface and produces a subtle sheen. The sides of these gallery-wrapped canvases are painted a rich gray. The art is signed on the back and ready to hang with no frame required. Each panel measures 40 inches high by 30 inches wide. Measurements below are for two panels. Note that space between the canvases can be expanded to increase the horizontal size.
