The compelling interplay of carved textures and pierced patterning creates a brilliant shimmer in a pendant cast from sterling silver. Pendant is 1.4" W and 2.5" L and hangs from a 1.6mm sterling silver wheat chain. Chain is 30" long and is available in bright or oxidized silver.

Dahlia Kanner handcrafts her jewelry using techniques such as lost wax casting, forming, carving, and fabrication. She creates her rings, bracelets, earrings, and necklaces from 18K gold, platinum, sterling silver, and occasionally, freshwater pearls.

Kanner has a large collection of plant and tree segments, minerals, insects, and photographs of natural life forms. Her designs are inspired by this collection and the hints of forms, textures, and moods that are within each piece. Kanner has a special affinity for the tactile and makes each of her jewelry pieces touchable as well as beautiful to view and wear.

Sieve Organic Element Necklace

The Sieve Organic Element Necklace with the contrasting chain is an unusual combination. The bright "leaf" element is a sharp contrast to the darkened metal chain. It allows the "leaf" pendant to take "center stage"! I love its perforations- I purchased the Sieve ring to go with the pendant. As usual, superior craftsmanship. An excellent find!!KLF

GOOD ADDITION TO MY WARDROBE

This is a very nice pendant. It is versatile in that can be worn long, 30" or 32", which is what I do, or at a shorter length. The bale is large enough that most chains fit easily. I like the shiny look which works with so many other silver pieces I wear.
