Giselle Kolb is a contemporary jewelry designer working in Baltimore, MD. She is a seasoned jeweler with over 20 years of experience both behind the retail counter and at the workbench.

Kolb received her jeweler's certificate from the Maryland Institute's Jewelry Program after obtaining a BFA in her home country of Peru.

Kolb's Peruvian roots have been a huge influence in her work. Unique memories of colonial Peru can be seen in much of her work. She used flowers as symbols of appreciation and as offerings or tributes. They are precisely arranged to become the contents of what she likes to call "shrines." The necessity for the use of color directs her and allows to explore new materials that take her work in new directions.

Wreath Ring

The darkened silver Wreath Ring by Giselle Kolb is quite lovely. The intricate leaf design wraps around the entire circumference of the ring. It is beautifully crafted, and the fit is perfect. It can be used in a "trio" of rings, with two narrower rings on either side of the wreath. I look forward to seeing what other treasures Giselle has in her collection! KLF

Beautiful ring, a little tight but still fits. I knew my ring size already and didn't need to be sized. I think the design of the ring tends toward making it smaller than standard sizing. Ordered a size 8 which is my usual size.

Great Custom Order!

I was able to get this ring custom made for me in a size 9, for only a small upcharge. The ring is lovely, a bit more delicate than I thought it would be from looking the pictures, so please keep in mind that the photos are extreme close ups. I love the oxidized silver color. In addition, this ring can be stacked with other thin rings. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase!

I've been eyeing this ring for quite awhile. When Artful Home had a special a few weeks back, I decided it was time to take the plunge. Like most of us, I'm really having to watch my money during the Covid outbreak. But of all people who deserve to be supported during the pandemic, it's creative people who stand to lose so much but give us so much joy. The wreath ring by Giselle Kolb is just lovely, and I thank her for her talent. And it will remind me of joy and gratitude in the midst of fear and uncertainty.
