Jewelry artist Tammy B is drawn to asymmetry and enjoys playing with composition. In her work, you will often find strong diagonal lines that create visual movement and fill her pieces with energy. She strives to make statement jewelry that goes beyond simply adorning the body.
Tammy B uses sterling silver and a wide variety of natural stones. She creates all of her jewelry by hand using traditional metalsmithing techniques, including hand forming and soldering. She particularly enjoys the process of bezel setting—especially for stones that present a challenge. She uses an array of textured surfaces and often finishes pieces with an oxidized patina.
Tammy B studied art with an emphasis in metalsmithing at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Following school, she worked 24 years as a bench jeweler and assistant to nationally known jewelry artist Sydney Lynch. Since then, Tammy has been showing her own designs. She currently works from her home studio in Lincoln, Nebraska.

This is a Christmas gift, so do not know if she'll like them. I was surprised at where the post was located on the earrings, but they are very pretty.
Ordered as a Christmas gift for my sister. They are beautiful. And, beautifully wrapped. Wondering why I had to fill in heights & body type to review earrings. LOL
Just received these earrings. They are comfortable and light weight to wear. Strong backing and nice length. I bought them to go with a vest I bought on this site. I wish the oxidized silver were darker (more black), the pearls a bit bigger and I would have preferred the hole in the earring was not there/visible. The pearls are glued on the bottom and there appears to be a small post inserted into the earring to secure it. But the top of the pearl does not have a smooth finish and one can see inside the hole. I would have preferred a solid pearl with no hole showing on top and a smooth finish. Since the pearl is so small, I don't think it is visible to someone looking at the earring on someone. I am probably more nit picky than most, but I'm giving my honest opinion. The photos do not show the top of the pearls. I will wait for the arrival of the vest and see how these earring look before making my final decision.
Overall, I would recommend these earring to those friends I know who aren't as concerned about the details of how it is put together as I am. I purchased these just to go with a particular outfit to complete a 'look' I hope to achieve. Love the concept and materials, but am a stickler for small details, especially with my jewelry. I do love the artist's creativity in her pieces.
I would rate it 3.5*.
