Iguana

Iguana shows the artist's interest painting exotic animals. She is not drawn to painting household pets, but prefers capturing wildlife in its environment. Details in the background were achieved by negative painting, starting with pale colors and cutting out shapes with progressively darker washes. Original watercolor painting on 300-lb.
